Printer not printing

After the W10 update on the 19 August I cannot get the printer to print from Word or Adobe, so what is wrong ???
Any ideas, It seems like Microsoft has excelled again!!

Press the Windows and "i" keys simultaneously, select "Devices", "Printers and Scanners", click on the printer, select "Manage", then "Run the troubleshooter".

Hi Ben,
Many thanks for your reply which I acted upon but it did not clear the problem, however, I did manage to get printing again after I deleted the printer driver and then reinstalled the latest driver, I think that there was some conflict with the Microsoft update. Many thanks again for your help.
