You could store it somewhere if you ever decided to go back to Win 7. Say you had a Win 7 system image you might be able to restore that to a clean drive if needed.

If it has been more than 30 days since the initial upgrade, you will probably have to reinstall Win 7 if you decide to go back. But the Win 7 Recovery Drive has just the Recovery tools and no image included and any path to use it on the Win 10 system has been removed.

Win 10 recovery drives are different in that they create an OS image while creating the recovery drive, so it is a self contained reset/clean install tool.
