Reinstall MS Office on new laptop

I had to get a new laptop as the old one went bad. I had MS Office Home and Student 2016 on the old one, tried to install it on the new one. It starts the download then just stops the, progress bar just sits in the same place. No error messages, or any messages. The new laptop is a Dell Inspiron 7706. Any thoughts or hints?
