Microsoft Office needs to reinstall after every close since annivesary update 8/20/2016

Ever since the latest update (anniversary update), every time I close Microsoft Office, excel, word, etc, when I restart the program it has to reinstall. I don't lose any data but for some reason when I execute the program to run after closing it, I get a pop up that it is reinstalling and then it runs until I close it again and then same process every time I execute the program.

Since posting I discovered this issue is intermittent. It doesn't always want to reinstall after closing, just sometimes. Very odd. lol

 

[Trouble]

I think I would try completely uninstalling Microsoft Office, reboot and then re-install it and see if that helped with the problem.
