Hi there,
First thanks to the members who answered my post for partition progs, I have downloaded them all and will try them out soon.

What I would like to know now is...I upgraded to Win 10 using the free upgrade from Win 7, what happens if after July I need to reinstall Win 10 due to say a faulty HDD, I don't have a Win code so does that mean I would have to purchase a Win 10 disk

You can extract your code from the install.

ProduKey - Recover lost Windows product key (CD-Key) and Office 2003/2007 product key.

Although I have yet to need them documented. All my systems have activated without needing to manually enter the key. And every system has been clean installed after their upgrade.

It isn't a mind bender, Robert.

Once you have successfully upgraded, you can download the official Windows 10 ISO. Your upgrade has been registered with your motherboard, on the Microsoft servers and Dbase. From then, you can reinstall,l as a (if you wish) totally fresh one. No further keys are required.

I missed your arrival! welcome to the forums.

Besides creating an ISO image, I would strongly suggest you create an Image of your system and a repair disk when creating a system image.
