SOLVED Safe to eject USB drive not working

something changed, when I try to eject a drive, it does not say it's safe too

Is quiet hours &/or Focus Assist turned on? If so (especially Focus Assist) then this prevents the popup notification from showing. I recommend turning these off & seeing if this is the cause.

Sorry about not marking solve I am on Win10 and 11 forums Win11 does not have a place to mark solved. Turning off Focus Assistant did the trick.
