Screen Resolution?

I use my HD TV as my computer monitor. My TV says it's picture is 1920x1080. When that is set in my computer the edges of the screen are cut off.

So do I lower the resolution? If so, is there a way to set it differently than the few options that are given?

Take your TV out of zoom mode.

Yep...it's your TV settings. Also check your aspect ratio.

This means your aspect ratio is probably messed up. Readjust it and the problem is gone.

I have had the same problem using an Nvidia graphics card. I tried everything that the TV menus had with no success. My TV has no user accessible adjustment for overscan so I used the Nvidia Control panel in Windows. I found I had to go to something like 1634 * 940 to get W10 to exactly fit on the TV .
