Hello,

Have a iMac, but bought thatParallels program so that I can use W10 on it also.
Guess it sets up a virtual partition,
Works well; can switch from the MAC OS to W10 easily.

Not too sharp with this anymore.
Blame it on old age.

Question: The bar with the icons that appears (on the W10 side) at the very top of the screen.
Not sure what the correct term for it is ? What is it called ? What's the bottom bar called ?

How can I "lock" or pin it so that it shows all the time ? Would like it to be there
every time I switch from the MAC OS to the W10 side.

Thanks,
Bob

Is this on the windows 10 desktop? There shouldn't be a bar there, unless the task bar, by default at the bottom of the screen, has been moved there.
Can you possibly post a screen snip?,

Hi,

Thanks for help.
Real beginner with the MAC.

Using Parallels, and when on the Windows side, that top bar I was curious
about appears when the cursor is moved to the very top.

But I looked at it again, and it is apparently a "carryover" from the MAC side, as it has those 4 small
make larger, make smaller, circles on the extreme left, and all the other MAC icons are there too.

So, I guess, it is just placed there automatically.
Surprising, as I thought when on the Windows side, it is Only Windows stuff that would appear.

Best regards,
Bob (Boston)
