Slow moving file within folder

Hi,
I'm using Ideapad 5 with Ryzen 7 5700u cpu and just recently I noticed that moving files from a folder to its subfolder is very slow. It seems to only happen when I try to move images. 5 photos with total size of 200kb take about 3 seconds to be moved to the subfolder right beside them, and this doesn't happen when I move a single photo.
Is this really a problem or am I just expecting too much from my laptop?
