Small Text using microsoft edge

Hello all just got a new laptop and you've guessed it, it is running windows 10. My question is the text size in windows edge appears to be very small. Is there anyway of enlarging it ? I've gone in to setting and altered the scale to 150% but this then makes everything look distorted is there anyway of just enlarging the text?

I am not sure this is related but if you hold the Control key and roll the mouse wheel, does it change?

When you refer to "settings" did you use the OS settings or the zoom in the edge settings? I have just tried the edge settings up to 150% and there was no distortion.
