HI

I get the following error message "User_Feed_Synchronisation-{D490B97B-0988-40AD-d47A999C7DA4}: The Task object version is either unsupported or invalid" when I start the Task Scheduler, and in Admin Tools - Service management console the Task Scheduler has all buttons greyed-out ( start, stop etc.) .

What is the fix for the error message.

If you are familiar with the registry, you can try this.

Open the registry (Right click the start and, in "Run" regedit
Make a backup of the registry, before trying any alterations. (File - export)
Type
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree

Look for the offending file : {D490B97B-0988-40AD-d47A999C7DA4) and delete it.
restart the computer.
