Text on lock screen disappears then appears again

The date, time, and other text on the lock screen appear then, after a short period of time, disappears and then reappears a few moments later. Can not enter PIN to access home screen until lock screen text reappears.

Is there a way to access the home screen without having to wait for the lock screen text to reappear?

Check your lock screen settings. Would you happen to have "Slide Show" enabled? If so you could temporarily disable it and see if that has any effect.

Lock screen set to "Picture." Picture does not change or disappear; only the date, time, internet access icon, and battery icon disappear and reappear.

When the event first occurs, you could check Task Manager and see if there's anything unusual running in the background at the time. AV, software downloads/updates
