Touchscreen Not Working

On my ASUS ZenBook UX305, the touchscreen stops working and constantly has to be reset with the Device Manager only to fail again shortly. 12c HID. .....this device cannot start (code 10).

How can I correct this?

Looking around a bit, it would seem that some touchscreen issues might be resolved with a BIOS update.
Have you checked to see what version BIOS you are currently running and what ASUS might have available to you.

Also you might want to check the properties of your Touchscreen input device in device manager and confirm that the Power Management tab does not have the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" checked.
