good morning, my question is:
as administrator, in W10, how can I become the owner of a directory which now is possessed by "system" or "trusted installer ? ( on the purpose to erase it)

which directory are you talking about?? System directories are important for the Operating system and should not be deleted at all. Trusted installer is a program in Windows 10 that also installs your updates therefore it is an important part of the system .

If you mess with the Trusted Installer, you are messing with the Windows 10 system... DON'T do it......

to mr Grizzly, mi purpose is to delete the directory Windows Mail (with winmail.exe )which does not work any more in W10. thanks, Gianfranco

Windows mail can be uninstalled via the Microsoft Essentials as it is part of that package. Try it that way and you should get way less headaches....
