Wake Up From Sleep Mode

Working on an HP Pavilion dv7. Since downloading windows 10 my computer will not wake up from sleep mode. Previously it woke up with any key or movement on mouse pad. lights come on as if starting up but screen remains blank. Also very slow at start from full shut down.
