SOLVED Webcam not working since upgrade

After upgrading from windows 7 to 10 I tried using my HP 3300 Webcam however when I try to use it only a black screen shows and I know it was working fine before I changed to windows 10. When I plug it in the light still comes on briefly but it does not come on when I open applications that use the webcam as it used to. Any fix?
