Weird issue with transparent background

I don't really know how to use words to describe the problem, so I didn't know how to search for this problem. Please look at the screenshot to see what I mean.

First picture shows problem with left-clicking the Start button. Second picture shows problem with right-clicking any icons on the Taskbar.

It looks like you are missing the text, usually associated with some of the icons in your start menu.
NOTE that Start Menu tiles that are sized "Small" will not display text until you hover over them with your mouse cursor.
You might want to try rebuilding your icon and thumbnail cache and see if that helps with the problem.

As far as the second image is concerned have you checked in
Start Button -> Settings -> Personalization -> Start
To confirm that you've got your jump lists turned on....
At the bottom "Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar"
With respect to "Transparency" you can turn that off at the bottom of the "Colors" selection in Personalization.
