Don't know there is a free version but I use Total Recorder [not expensive] for such purposes, has an Append function in it. A lot of free programs will be limited in what they can do, obviously want to sell the fuller versions.

I've used Audacity for years. Allows you to edit various formats and convert & export them to other formats. You can use it to paste file after file together into one long file if that's your desire.
