My Wi-Fi keeps dropping, coming back and dropping. So I reset my hp laptop to factory settings and this seemed to help a little bit for a while untill now it barely comes on and stays for 2 minutes.

I have reset and updated the drivers.

When i troubleshoot using Windows 10 troubleshooter it detects problem as 'problem with Wi-Fi adapter'

Does this mean my hardware is in need of replacing?

Please help!!

It may be your modem/router or just router that's needs to be reset/rebooted. Where did you get your updated drivers from?

My router is fine. My housemates laptop runs perfectly, other devices are fine etc.

I just re installed the drivers and did the automatic windows driver update.

I think it is disabled by default, but it is a fkuid subject (IE, none knows)
Go into the Setting, System, Projecting to this PC.
Select the drop box and select Always Off., if not already.
If you disable it in the device manager, I believe you will se it reinstated in a very short time.
