2 yrs ago built my granddaughter a system with a Foxconn nT535-0h0w-B-A-NA Intel NM10 mini/booksize unit. Intel Atom D525 1.8Ghz, 4Gb DDR2-800, 350Gb HDD. Runs Win7 x32. Am going to be swapping out the HDD for a SSD (more speed, less heat).
Would this setup run Win10? She's 11, uses it for Minecraft, watching video and some ooVoo video chat.

Looks like you have the minimum system requirements covered
Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
  • RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
  • Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS or 20 GB for 64-bit OS
  • Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
  • Display: 800 x 600
The only trouble that you may have is if the system does not support PAE, NX, and SSE2, which I'm betting if it's only two years old it does and you're probably good to go.

A disk image in advance of the upgrade would probably be a good idea just to be safe.

Coreinfo shows all 3 supported. Ran the Win 8.1 upgrade assistant and it had no issues.

If it'll run 8.1 then it'll run Windows 10, I'm pretty sure.

I ran the preview release on my EXOPC tablet with no issues (other than some driver issues in the later builds, but unrelated to the main specs).

Atom N450 1.66ghz
2gb ddr2 667mhz
64gb SSD
