I’m on Windows 10 Pro 22h2 on desktop and seeing the following behavior:
(started a few days ago not much has changed of note that I can remember)
Symptoms:
- Auto-scrolling down in Device Manager, Screenpresso, Windows Settings app, File Explorer (L-side bar only)
- Auto slow zoom in the Photos app (Only when hovering over images and the app is active window)
- Starts the moment I hover the mouse over the window
- Continues even if I disable/unplug mouse & keyboard after it begins
What’s strange:
- Does NOT happen in Chrome, Evernote, or PureRef
- Seems not system-wide
Things I’ve already tried:
- Disabled mouse + keyboard (When scrolling or zooming starts, and even outside of it)
- Unplugged wacom tablet
- Disabled Scroll inactive windows when hovering
- Disabled Magnifier + all Ease of Access options
Extra clue:
- Dragging the scrollbar manually doesn’t work — it nudges a bit, then stops
Anyone know how to resolve this?
