I was currently helping a friend upgrade their PC from Windows 8 to Windows 10, and after starting the installation I left the PC alone for a few hours. After coming back I'm on the upgrade screen telling me that the PC is "Configuring update for Windows 10". The problem is that it says it is only 4% complete, and that the message says to not turn off the computer. It's been nearly 4 hours since the upgrade began, and the percent is still at 4. My first idea was to restart the computer manually, but I'm not sure if anything will happen in terms of files becoming corrupted or the computer unusable. Sorry if there isn't a whole lot of detail as I'm typing this on my phone and am trying to find a solution as soon as possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
