2018-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4058258) did install but comes back up to install again in windows update. Any clue to whats going on here??

There is a "known issue" with this particular update

It's a little confusing because it mentions KB4054517 and the error 0x80070643 but evidently still pertains to this update and may have something to do with another update

My advice, is....
To wait until tomorrow which is the normal "Update Tuesday" and see if they manage to provide a newer cummulative update (roll-up) package to address this issue.
