A/V PLAYBACK GONE AFTER WINDOWS 10 AND ITUNES UPDATES COLLIDE

So I have a Dell XPS 8930 (2018 ) with Windows 10. Whenever iTunes updates I lose A/V playback. No sound, frame rates I per sec on any playback if at all. Then after a time another update might fix it. Only to be knocked down again by another Win update. There must be a fix. I'm surprised I don't hear more of this prob. Must be a simple fix. Sucks, only have it all 10-15% of time. Microsoft bigfoots the updates. Please respond and thanks … hope you all are well

Sorry I can't be of more help, but....
It's been many years since I've used anything Apple related, iTunes included.

Have you attempt to use the built in trouble shooting utilities to see if they might at least provide some small insight.

Also, check you Dells support page for any new drivers and/or BIOS update for any bug fixes. This may help.
