I'm more concerned with when the fixes are coming out and who is chip model is actually going to be affected by the possible backdoors.

I saw this on the news last night, what stunned me was the fact that they let every would be hacker out there know that there is another place they can create a bug for if they didn't know about it already, if they didn't know before the broadcast; they do now!!.
