BIF FILES?

My PC is creating tons of BIF files along with each MP4. Can I just safely delete all the BIF files and how do I stop them from creating themselves? My C Drive is 98% full and my 1TB F Drive is getting there. Thanks. SEE BELOW:

Use caution doing a Search on this site, there is a User named BIF so the results will be skewed.

My thought is they may be similar to the .cda markers on audio CDs, not the actual media in which case they could be deleted. You could move them into a different Folder such as BIF1 and see if the videos still play, if so they could then be deleted to save the space.
