SOLVED Downloaded photos go to pdf files

Hi
Recent downloads of photos have been turned in Edge PDF files. I don't know why, and would appreciate ideas on how to prevent it happening again, and on whether the affected photos can be returned to IMG or JPEG formulas.

You might want to check Settings > Default apps it appears it may be set for Edge viewer. Right click on photo's and select your (photo viewer) preferred default viewer. When they open in Edge you can click on Edge settings (top right) select save as .jpeg or .img to your photo's file folder.
