SOLVED Deleted email keep getting downloaded to my laptops again

I'm working at switching from my old laptop running Windows 7 to a new laptop with Windows 10. I have Windows Live Mail installed and running on both laptops. I decided to completely clear out all the emails from my four email accounts so I could start fresh. I transferred everything in the four accounts into their deleted items folder and then emptied all four folders. My Live Mail server is set to remove all emails once they have been removed from the deleted items folders. However what is happening on both my laptops is that the emails are downloading again! This has been going on all day and thousands of them have downloaded. I delete them again and they download again! It's driving me nuts. Any idea how to correct this?

IF you've cleaned up all local instances and the emails keep appearing then....
That would mean that they are being maintained and preserved on the server.

Use your web browser to Log into your live account and clean them up at the source.

How do I access the actual server though?

It would depend on who your provider is.
Most have a live portal where you log in with your email address and password.

I forgot about the Yahoo part. That did the trick. Went in and cleared all the folders. Many thanks.
