Blocking Youtube cookies

I'm raising this in General Discussions because it's not a problem, just a query.

I am running Firefox and have set "Enhanced Tracking Protection" to 'strict'.
I have checked the box for "Delete Cookies when Firefox is closed".
I have put youtube.com on my "Cookies and Site Data" blocked list.
But every time I open Firefox and check for cookies, youtube.com is there.

Why is this?
