SOLVED Booting from wrong hard drive

I have a 1tb hard disk and a 500gb samsung 850 evo ssd i cloned the hard disk contents over to the ssd and am trying to boot of the ssd in bios but its still booting of the hard disk

you said you cloned the HDD contents over SSD but it may have happened that the synchronization doesn't happen properly or rightfully. so redo the cloning process again.

Is this the only Solution cause it seems to be running off my HDD but via my SSD
It also is allowing the HDD to be marked as active when its already booting from it?

i dont want to clone it again just for it not to work

What I'd do as a diagnostic is unplug the large drive and try booting. There's always been issues when installing the OS with 2 drives in the case but unfortunately a clean install on only 1 drive is the only true solution.

ye i unplugged the Hdd and i looks like i cant boot from it so im going to have to do a clean install
