Hi, I have Windows 10 Home Version 1803, originally Windows 8.
I have looked at this problem in the Forum before but no luck.
Today after booting up, the same thing.
The Service Host: Local System (2) starts using 30% CPU after a few minutes
and takes up to 9 minutes before finishing. Today the time was around 10:30 am.
When I go to Settings and Update it says:
Last Check Yesterday at 5 pm (when I was using the computer)
To do a check, I went to Settings and Update and clicked on: Check For Updates.
It took 8 minutes and told me :You're up to date with the right present time.
Are there any suggestions that I could try ?
Cheers

Press the Windows and "i" keys simultaneously, click "Networking and Internet", "Change connection properties" and change "Set as metered connection" to "On".

Thanks for your response Ben. I am on to something good here. Made the easy change (I should have asked earlier), restarted the computer and not looking for Updates. Thanks again.
