The camera on my Toshiba S50-B laptop worked fine when on the original Windows 8.1 but doesn't work now that I have upgraded to Windows 10. It says "Something went wrong - make sure your camera is connected and not being used by another application". I have tried everything I know of and find no reason. Is there another driver required or ...? I cannot even find the camera.

Have been into settings->privacy-> camera and tried the various settings in there?

And of course going to Toshiba support and checking for a W10 driver for the camera.

Additionally, in Device Manager use the menu bar View -> Show hidden devices
Look (expand portable devices) is it listed there.
I had this issues with my Nikon D3200 and I removed it from device manager and rebooted, after which the thing worked. Don't know why but might be worth a look see.
