Have upgraded to Windows 10 and currently windows update shows 4 updates ready to install and one ready to download. It has been like this for the past few days. Locked with nothing being uploaded/downloaded/installed. Prior versions of windows allowed the user to select which updates to download and install. Is this still possible with Windows 10?

Unlike previous Windows such as Vista and Win 7, Microsoft wants Windows updates to be installed automatically. No Manual. No choice.
For the Pro version users, they have 30 days to "delay" the install. But they will be installed eventually.
For the Home version users, updates are to be installed automatically.

There might be a registry hack or 2 in the web. Use it at your own risk.
