Have you checked the printer properties and looked at the port settings and see how Windows 10 thinks that it is connected to your computer.
It's possible that you may have to use the Devices and Printers applet in the control panel to remove the printer, and the programs and features applet in the Control Panel to remove the associated software and then either use the Setup program to reinstall it or perhaps go here http://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/...kjet_printers/pixma_mg4220#DriversAndSoftware
AND download the latest driver suite directly from Canon for your specific version of Windows (home, pro, 32 or 64 bit)
