Cant use restore point

I've had XP ans 7 and in each going back to a earlier point was easy. Now I want to do thst in 10 and it's a nightmare! You have to go theoigh a sries of options you need instructions to use. I can't as I've limited sight, I'm waiting for wyw surfwey, so can't read text in the windows I nwed to acces restore. Windows ease of access haelps me use Edge but not much more.
System restore was so simple, it was perfect in XP and 7, so why did Microsodt complicate it? Clever texhnicians eing a bit to clver?
