Change phone number for Microsoft Account

I am changing phones is there a phone number in or on my Microsoft account? How do I sign into the account and change it. I signed in found every thing but where to change a phone number ?

on your profile page on the web, , under your picture/name, select "More Actions", then, "edit Profile"
In the next frame, again, next to yoyr picture/name, select "Contact Information"
There it is.

thank you seems what should be easy turns out to be the hardest. I did as you suggested and it worked
