Coming from a chromebook

Hi.

I have a surface laptop 2 which I am really happy with.

Recently though I am running into what I think is a virus.

It's called: dontnotifyfriends.info

It keeps showing me dating site information and I can't get rid of it.

There doesn't seem to be anything on the web about it.

Can anyone help?

Sounds like some kind of adware. Try downloading the free version of malwarebytes, and run a scan. If that doesn't take care of it, there are a few other tools you can try like adwcleaner and/or emsisoft emergency kit.

Shamefully I think there were a lot of items found by SUPERAntiSpyware. I ran that and hitman pro and we'll see how she blows. Fingers crossed it might be alright, you never know. lol. Thanks all. Will get back if need be. cheers.
