SOLVED Cortana and search "hidden"

I can only get Cortana and search working by "right clicking" the space where it used to be on task bar . It then works ok but is permanently hidden! How do I greet them back on task bar. I think this maybe "self inflicted" because at one point I was asked if I wanted to hide" Cortana " and I think I replied positively! However I can't find how I did that or how to "unhide" from taskbar . Can anyone help please?

Right click at an open spot of your taskbar > click Cortana > click Show search box.
