Can anyone help me to change my Mail default to Outlook ?
When I go to default settings Outlook is not listed as an option when I click on Mail.
Do I need to do something in Outlook itself - Am I missing something obvious ?
I can't seem to find Outlook in programs or anywhere.

Not mentioned in the link, but, if the help doesn't work, try this:
Open settings - Email and accounts. and "Add an account"

I don't recall having your problem, but, I am always logged in with a Microsoft account, synced, which could explain it.

Open th MS options - General.
The fourth option is to make Outlook the default.
It's not in the list.
Apparently it's not an option anymore but I have found a workaround.
I was advised to install Thunderbird to manage my outlook account. Solved 2 problems in 1.
You can set it as default from the installation page and I can now scan a document/choose a PDF and 'send to mail recipient' in the right click, drop down menu - the main reason I went on this default settings hunt in the 1st place !

It most certainly is in my MsOutlook. (2016)

But, I have only just realised you are talking about outlook on line! That is not possible, as a browser would intervene. You can only make it as a shortcut somewhere, but it would still need to work through the browser.
