Desktop 'Bug'

I am experiencing a problem in which, the icons on the desktop which I have organised to know where everything is i.e. Games in top right, YouTube stuff in bottom right etc.
However I believe every time I turn on the computer some of the icons decide to move around, it is really frustrating, I would appreciate a fix!

If you right click the Desktop and look at the view settings, do you show "Auto arrange icons" checked?

If it isn't that, I have see situations where resolutions for the screen are being changed and the icons move to suit the different setting. It may be a situation where you don't even see the changes if they return to normal. Try putting the icons in the center of the screen and see if they move.

Do you use any of the Task View desktops?

I have W10 2012 Dell desktop and Dell 21.5" monitor (1920 x 1080).
My 5 icons (medium) located on upper portion of left edge of monitor never move and stay in same order.

Right click on desktop / view
auto arrange icons - not checked
align icons to grid - checked
