Display not bright enough to easily read

I have upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 and the display has become dark and difficult to read..
I can't find the control to brighten the display or what I find doesn't work.
Can it relate to the power options?.
Could it be in the Comos ?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I don't know what you have tried to adjust the brightness. You may want to try this link
