Dying mouse ?

With my newest DELL computer, I had windows 10 pre-installed.

But now when I leave the computer, it wants me to log in to continue when I come back,
but the mouse is DEAD, so I cant log in.

To get the mouse back, I have to do a FULL RESET.
Its a minor inconvenience, but why does this happen ?

Did they test this stuff ?

Open Device Manager and
Check your
Mouse
Keyboard
AND
Human Interface Devices
Double click them one at a time and check the Power Management tab and make sure that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is NOT checked.
