Edge browser loads then reloads

When I launch the Edge browser, I start entering an item in the search bar, and then the browser re-starts, losing the search data I have started to type. This has only recently started to occur. My Windows system is 1809.

I haven't had a problem in my infrequent use of Edge but would ask if you have downloaded and installed the 'new' Edge based on Chromium?

Edge is my default browser. I don’t have any problems with it.
The beta (chromium), is not connected with your issue. You could try updating your OS.

Even mine is working all good, I would suggest to reset the Edge.
