SOLVED Email problem

All of a sudden I cannot recieve any emails. The message is as follows:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (retiredlady2011) account.

Server Error: 3219
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00005
email messages. I am getting the following message about emails:

I am running Windows 10 on a Dell desktop PC Inspiron 560
Make it simple!

Well since you send a receive emails from a server. The problem is with your account on the email server. So i would contact your email service provider. Sending email is through a SMTP server and receiving is through a email server.

I am pretty much lost when it comes to understanding how these things work, but I did find a solution on the web, basically how to set up a new email account (with the same address) step by step, and that seems to have worked, so I guess you were on the right track. Thank you for your response.
