I have managed to burn test files by left clicking on optical drive, but your instructions are foreign to me. Is it possible that the US interface is diffeent from the UK?Open file explorer
Select your burner in the left navigation pane
From the Drive Tools menu / Manage options in the ribbon, click "Finish burning"
I don't have that path on my computers, but, if you also cannot find it, the problem has occurred
due to an unsuccessful use of the burner. The unused files have been stored in the one drive folder.
You can access this and delete them.
Right click the start and select run.
Type, or copy and paste shell:CD burning
Delete all the files you see in the folder.
I don't understand???
Is the object, to burn files to a optical disk, or to simply get rid of the informational prompt about having files waiting to be burned?

PS And I have just found the DRIVE Tools tab.I don't understand either.
I was only trying to clear a nagg on startup, telling me that I had "files waiting to be burned to disk" The files were from an aborted test burn. They have now been deleted.
Thanks for your help

That would be normal if you had no items waiting to be burned and no writeable media in the drive.
