Forgot login win10

Hey all, a friend of mines mom forgot the login password for win10 was going to enable administrator. I go through the process to get command prompt but, once I get to the select keyboard language I can't do anything. Does anyone have a suggestions?

Your friend can go here: https://account.live.com/password/reset to reset a forgotten password.

Once done they'll need the affected computer to have wifi access for when they sign in with new password for Microsoft to verify it.

What did happen when you press SHIFT + F10 keys at the select keyboard language screen? If the touch screen doesn't work, you might need to use an external USB keyboard.

This is for Microsoft users, but if his friends is using a local account password , that doesn't make any sense

I don't usually enter threads concerning lost passwords. <particular when it is a friend of a friend of a friend.
As Regedit's link. Yes, of course only for a Microsoft account! I haven't experimented with Marsoen's link,. I am a little surprised, though, that it seems so easy to bypass the protection!

I got a tutorial from Google , we can recovery or set up a new login password on Windows 10 .
There are no limits to do ,

When you create administration account in your windows you need to add a email id in this. If you forgot your password click on forgotten password, it ask to you a email id. Fill your email id which was used to create account and send it. Your password modification details will be sent to your email id.
