Any luck fixing the headphone port? It stopped working and no settings will make it work again after wins 10 upgrade. I use a splicer for the speakers on the back of my desktop to get headphones sound.

Did you try going into Control Panel, then Sounds. Then under the Playback Tab R click Headphones, L click "set as default device", and then OK. Once the speaker icon appears in the lower tray you can go through there. On my computer I have to go through this process to go between headphone and speaker. I don't know if this is your problem but it's the one I had, to get my front earphone socket to work.

That depends on which sound card/onboard sound you have. Did you attempt to go to the manufactures website and download and install the latest drivers? Windows update doesn't always provide the correct drivers.
