Hello,

Not too sharp with this, so please bear with me.

Looked at some several years old USB Memory Sticks.

a. Some of the files have: ECC next to them, and some have PCSV.
Most have .txt as as their name extension, also.

What are ECC and PCSV please ?

b. Also, some have a small icon at the very beginning of the
file names that I don't think I've ever seen before.

Hard to describe, but it is light green in
color, and looks, perhaps, if you took one if those desk calendar organizers and put it on edge.

Any idea what this might be ?

Thanks,
Bob

No idea.
ECC is typically associated with Error Correction Code type buffered memory modules that you find most often used in and on servers, but.....
I assume these are actual files contained on old USB thumb drives and not labels on memory modules.

There are so many third party software products that often generate their own proprietary files that it would be very difficult to guess, for instance.....
https://fileinfo.com/extension/ecc

So it may be a case of your having used some third party software in the past that produced these files and the memory sticks were where you saved those files, so.....
IF they are
several years old
AND
You don't recall what they are for or even what might have produced them, then I would think that they're probably of very little importance
