Installation question

Im in the process of downloading 10, its been sitting at "getting updates" 46% for a while now, do i need more patience or its it safe to say it crashed? Thx

Just let it go. I've had it hang for quite a while before (hours).

Especially if this is going over wifi........don't stop it, just let it do it's thing.

Yeah. And it doesnt help at all to say, when asked at the start, that you will get updates later!!! (Not sure of the exact wording of the message.)

Do you have a copy of the latest version (currently 1909) or is it an older version like 1803?. Or are you upgrading a computer from maybe Windows 7?.

As Wolfie suggests, it can depend on how far you are behind with builds.. There can be a huge number (and size) of updates if you have skipped a few.
