Installer database corrupt

Trying to re-install Adobe PS CS3 from the Adobe website. Download is complete but when I try to install get the error "installer database corrupt." I've deleted the CAPS file; I've uninstalled Adobe Creative Suite. I've cleared my cache & tried 2 browsers. I made sure cookies were enabled. I still get the error. Any help will be appreciated. Have spent hours troubleshooting with no luck
